A human rights advocate based in the DC area but originally from Équateur, DRC, Nils is deeply involved in community organization and advocacy. As a Federal Policy Manager for African Communities Together, he provides legal immigration services. Outside of his work, Nils volunteers as an ESL teacher at Saint Mark Catholic Church in Virginia, helping teach English skills to adult immigrant students and serves as the Immigration Coordinator and Board Director for the Congolese Community of Washington Metropolitan (CCWM) by advocating for immigrants’ rights.
